Christmas Lights for Merry Monday

It's Merry Monday time

Here's my card for this week.

Wendy chose our challenge this week

My friend Jan had lent me a Sizzlit that had a Christmas tree light on it.

I'd say that was serendipitous!

I cut them from different snippets of colored paper,
smacked them with VersaMark,
sprinkled some Heat and Stick Powder on them,
heat and sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds.

I cut some snippets of foil with the base of the lights
and did a little bit of scoring.

Strung them on some of Stampin' Up!'s new gold twine (love it),
and I was done.

Now it's your turn.

I hope to see you at Merry Monday.

I haven't been to visit at
for quite awhile.
So I'm off to see if they'll let me back in.

and

Thanks for stopping by.

Enjoy!

  3. Hi Bonnie,
    what a brilliant card.
I love your wonderful lights and their sparkle.
    Great designing too.
We are bobbing apples in cider hiccup, hiccup, at the back of the bike shed if you want to join us, but be careful Miss Di, and Parsnip don't catch you otherwise you will be in detention. LOL.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  4. I was just sitting here this morning thinking about when I had to put up the Christmas tree and then put all those dreaded lights on it! Think I need to just CASE this card and use that instead of a tree this year. Much easier to handle!
Love it! All the sparkle and shine of those light bulbs!!! So pretty.

  6. Wonderful Bonnie! Such a really great take on the challenge picture - LOVE the lights you created. Of course we allow you back into the Playground, anytime honey! Right now Parsnip is as much use as a chocolate fireguard as he found the illicit store of cider and is flat on his little white furry back gazing at the stars. I'm back inside the tree house guzzling leftover choklit before I haul his sorry little a*s indoors to bed - boy it's good when it gets dark and the little scamps go home for the night :) And he's gonna have a stinker of a bad head in the morning, snigger! :)

Hope to call by MM ASAP. life is a tad busy right now but will still do my best to call by one of my fave challenges!

    Hugs

    Di xx

  8. Oh no Miss has found the stash of chocklit and as for Parsnip I think he will be out for the count for at least a day or two.
I love your twinkly lights. Much brighter and a lot less hassle than the real thing. Hugs Mrs A.

  16. Hi Bonnie

Loving your cute Christmas lights card.

Er, if you're coming over the Playground Party behind the bike sheds tonight, could you bring more marshmallows and weenies please? We ran out of Carol L's stash of them last night. Thanks, you're a pal.
