I think I've become addicted to making Christmas tags.
LOL, I'm having so much fun making them!
This one brings back memories of sledding with my brother
one night after dinner.
The snow was really crusty and we could walk on top of it.
The sleds flew and we could go from the base of our steps
to the road.
It was a long and fast run!
Oh, what fun we had!
I think this will go on his Christmas package.
I wonder if he remembers that night like I do?
It's another entry for Loll's Challenge
and
and
I've stamped the sentiment, stenciled snowflakes with embossing paste and added
Dazzling Details, Torn the snow banks, lightly sponged and dazzled them too.
Die cut the sledder and added some twine for extra texture.
If you're still with me, I want to share a wonderful opportunity to share your cards.
You can find information about sharing at
Not only can you share your love of card making,
there are prizes too.

Thanks so much for staying with me to get this far.

Yes, I think you _have_! What fun for us to enjoy too. (I'm behind, so will enjoy your earlier work when caught up again!). I LOVE this little sledder silhouette and how perfectly you've captured the moment with the 'torn snow hill' against that winter night sky. Love the tiny snowflake charm too. You're terrific with mixed media & tags!!! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun. I can just imagine you sledding down the hill with your brother, holding on for dear life! :) I'm sure he will love thinking back to that time when he sees your tag. I'm so happy that you're having a lot of fun making tags ... and mixed media tags to boot! :) xx

I'm sure your brother will remember it - those childhood memories stick with us forever. When we lived in Ontario, we had cold snowy winters and I well remember sledding and tobogganing with my sister so your tag evoked memories for me too. It's beautifully done and really evokes the cold frosty feeling.
ReplyDeleteThe grey sky with snow is lovely :) fabulous tag !

ReplyDeleteBonnie I love this tag -- I had surgery a few weeks ago and of course developed an infection. So I have been down and out for the count and am really behind!
