Red and Gold for Merry Monday

It's Merry Monday Time

Christmas is fast approaching!

It's my turn to choose the challenge
and I chose...

I love the elegance of red and gold.

It's really hard to capture that with a camera though.

The red is really Cherry Cobbler but didn't want to photograph that way.

Here's another card with red and gold.

I did this with a Stamp Stack group last month.

I can't wait to see what you can come up with.

Card 1 Recipe
Stamps:  Joyful Christmas (retired SU)
Ink:  Encore Gold
Paper:  Cherry Cobbler, Gold Foil (SU)
Other:  Gold EP (SU), Holly Berries Die (PB)

I used a stylus on the backside of the die to shape the leaves and berries.  To adhere it, I rolled micro glue dots to put under the stems and berries and rolled larger glue dots to adhere the leaves.

Card 2 Recipe
Stamps:Embellished Ornaments (SU)
Ink:  Encore Gold
Paper:  Real Red, Whisper White, Gold Foil, Red Glimmer (all SU)
Other:  Delicate Ornament Thinlits, Gold Cording Trim (both SU), Delicate Designs EF (retired SU)
