Watercolor Class Chevrons

This is a card I made from a technique from Day 1
My colors ended up being more vibrant than Dawn's
and much less even.

I still don't control the water and paint very well, but I'm learning a lot.

I doubt I'll ever get to the level of the fantastic instructors.

  6. WOW!! This water colored background is gorgeous, love this bright and fresh color combination Bonnie, the addition of the Vellum banner is a beautiful focal point to guide your eye to the sentiment.
You are doing wonderfully in this class and, like you said, you are learning a lot. It's not about getting to the level of your instructors, it's about gaining confidence working with this wonderful medium.
    Thank you for sharing.

  7. Thanks for sharing your results from the class -- including the hearts (smiley face) and your honest, funny comments. Your watercolor cards have always grabbed my eye, and now you will be even better. It helps me to remember how important patience, time and a "try, try again" attitude are.

  15. I'll take vivid over subtle any day so the colors of this really speak to me. I like the unevenness to it too, more kicky and quirky and fun, which match those colors!

  18. I think the water/paint ratio is the hardest thing about watercolor, Bonnie. You may say your card is bright but I like bright and it's very well done.
