My friend Jan brought this die for me to have a play with.
I cut it out of some snippets of yellow and green and messily loosely sponged some ink
close to the embossed piece, popped some candy dots in the center,
and called it daffodils.
ANYTHING GOES
Thanks so much for choosing my stenciled tag card to be in your top 3!
I used snippets of yellow and green for the die cuts.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Being our National Flower I know a daffodil when I see it! This is awesome what a great flower, showing as a daffodil but flat enough for posting, brilliant! Oh! yes the card is wonderful.

ReplyDeleteOh, what fun flowers. And what a nice friend for sharing that die with you.
ReplyDeleteA perfect spring card! Great idea to sponge a bit of ink behind the outline die - something I must remember to try. And I love the use of the dsp for a narrow border - I need to remember that too as I want to use up a bunch of my dsp stash!
ReplyDeleteOh this is so refreshingly pretty, fab card! Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.
ReplyDeleteI love how you loosely colored your diecut flowers and especially your sweet framing. TFS my friend.

ReplyDeleteLike the way you've left parts of the die shapes loose & free over this splodge of w/c color. This is just so fresh & pretty. Lovely design too. Perfect snippets! TFS & Hugs
