Good Merry Monday morning!
The fabulous creator of Merry Monday, Leslie (Always Playing with Paper) is offering our challenge this week.
I was inspired by the beautiful floral arrangement.
I used a variety of die cuts that had been cut from mixed media paper.
I watercolored them with Zigs and Copics, and then arranged them in the corner.
I only added one little punched flower because more seemed to be too many.
I love making floral arrangements and it's as much fun with paper as with the real thing!
What will inspire you from this photo challenge?
I can't wait to see what you bring to
Merry Monday!
Edited to add that I can enter
Memory Box Outside the Box Challenge
WATERCOLOR
I've watercolored these dies including the Memory Box Forest Pine Branch.
My stamped sentiment, watercolored die cuts, and scoring (dry embossing),
and CAS (Clean And Simple) layout are perfect for our June challenge at
CAS Mix Up.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteHave a great week and thanks for you help!
Oh dear! I'm amazed at the depth of this skillful watercoloring. Those green leaves look so real- ditto the branches & pine boughs...I wanted to just reach out & touch them. Love the way you've done the floral swag, and the one tiny white flower was just perfect. More _would_ have been too many. Love the red checks on that ribbon. So much texture in the shaping too. This could just hang on a tiny door at Christmas!!! Once again, you hit it out of the ball park, Miss B. This is just fabulous, and with the most appropriate sentiment verse too. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty and breathtaking card. Traditional colours and the most perfect sentiment. Great texture and die cutting...love it! x
