Do you ever think a card is fine until you start writing your blog?
I just noticed my sentiment is crooked. I guess it's OK if you tilt your head.
Maybe the floor in my studio is tipped?
I think this would work in lots of other colors too.
I've popped up the smaller stitched rectangle with a piece of fun foam for added dimension.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Love the loose look of those stamps and how you've coloured them. The double stitched rectangles work so well and draw your eye in. Thank you for sharing this beautiful card. I think the senitment is straight it's just the way it's been photographed! lol xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card, Bonnie. I love how the flowers spill over onto the lower rectangle. I'm glad I'm not the one who sometimes thinks something is crooked on a card when seen on my blog. I'm sure it's the camera playing tricks ;-) xx
ReplyDeleteI think it's your camera playing tricks. I'm sure the sentiment is straigh. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of stamping off the edge. Great design and colours Bonnie. xx
Super cute!!! Thank you for joining us at ATSM, good luck!!! Amy DT
ReplyDeleteI love this Bonnie .... the colours look so pretty together and your sentiment looks fine to me hun xx
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful card. I don't think anyone would have known that the sentiment was crooked if you hadn't told us! I do love the colors on this card.
ReplyDeleteI like the pretty design here, and my blog post shows all of my oops for sure! LOL
ReplyDeleteI am always doing this Bonnie and wonky sentiments is up there on my list! But at least it shows it is home made and that is where the love is!! I really like you used the red colour base, it works so well with the blue and red combo you used for the butterfly. Great to see you at AAA
ReplyDeleteBonnie I always blame the camera angle for wonky bits on my cards! Love that cascade of little flowers over the two stitched central rectangles. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards.
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty Bonnie!! Love your colours and I am sure your studio table must have been crooked, not your stamping.

I didn't even notice the sentiment's position until you mentioned it because I was so taken with the terrific look of the card--the flowers stamped off, the colors, the stitched rectangles, etc. That SU Calypso Coral (one of my all time faves) as main color against the crisp white is so striking and fresh looking. Great card, as always!
ReplyDeletePretty. Love the row of flowers. I didn't notice the sentiment being not straight, but it goes with the flow of the flowers. :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend my friend.
Pretty card Bonnie! I love those flowers, they trail down so nicely onto the second panel, love that! Your butterfly is perfect to go with those flowers too. Is your sentiment really crooked?? Sometimes they just look crooked in the photo, but not in real life. I didn't even notice until you said something about it!! Still a fabulous card! Hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteWell, I think it's fabulous Bonnie - whether I tilt my head or not LOL - seriously, I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't pointed it out, and that's because I was too busy, looking at the sweet little trailing flowers and that gorgeous butterfly that pops in that colour combo! A great design in all my friend! Have a lovely day! Hazel xx

I Love how your flowers are stamped out of the box and your bright colors. Your butterfly is the perfect embellishment. TFS Bonnie...BTW, I did not even notice your slightly tilted sentiment until you told us! Hugs, nancy
ReplyDeleteLove the way the flowers go off the focal panel! And the stitched edges add so much to a card.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card, love the stamping Off the card and the 3D of the top layer.

The crooked sentiment is how we know it is handmade! But yes, I've had photos show off my flaws and even invent some that aren't there. I like this a lot, crooked sentiment and all!
ReplyDeleteYour card is perfect the way it is! Love it. Thanks for playing along at ATSM.
ReplyDeleteYour description cracked me up! Truthfully, Bonnie, I'd have never noticed if you didn't point that out but yep, noticed when I post mine that I find little things like that. Besides that, the card is such a beautiful one in such cheerful colors! Love how the layers spill from the first layer to the second. That technique has such an imact. This is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty design--great card, Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteso pretty! thanks for sharing with us at AAA Cards!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Bonnie. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteIt happens to me al the time Bonnie, I blame the camera! Love the colour of those flowers.
ReplyDeleteLovely card, Bonnie! Love the splash of teal with the calypso and those flowers cascading across the corner! I do the same thing with sentiments and dies. On my "negative" cake die card the other day, I discovered the flowers going across are crooked. Oh well, I think those "Oopsies" give them that true handmade authentic vibe.
