Fruit of the Spirit

This is one of my favorite Bible verses.

You see I have a terrible time memorizing things.

When I need to keep from giving in to a bad habit,
I try to remember this in perfect order.
By the time I have to look it up, I've forgotten about that bad habit.
For the time being.....

I like to keep the verse handy so I can find it quickly and easily.

When I quit smoking, I carried it in my pocket for months.

I'll share this card at One Layer Simplicity where I haven't played in ages.
The challenge this month is art.
I used watercolor as my art medium.

I painted another and matted this one.

Just Us Girls Challenge
Love those watercolor challenges!

I stamped both with Antique Linen Distress ink
and colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

  8. Two stunning cards Bonnie - but I personally like the un-matted one the better of the two. I know what you mean about memorizing scripture correctly!!

  15. Bonnie, this is one of my favorite verses as well...so very useful and helpful for getting through life making wiser, spirit-filled choices. Both cards are lovely, but YOU KNOW I love the one-layer one especially. The subtle score lines add a lovely frame, and the speckling is perfect. Thanks for sharing this with the One-Layer Simplicity challenge!
