A Pink Poinsettia for Merry Monday

Good Merry Monday morning.

Debbie chose a color challenge for us this week.

I used a piece of Inka Gold Smooshed with water for the background.
I love the shine and variation in color you can get with this technique!

This was a first pull through it and has such vibrant colors.
The more water you spritz and the more times you pull a piece of cardstock
or watercolor paper through it, the lighter the color gets.

I die cut and embossed the poinsettia then sponged the edges of the petals and shaped them.

I'm going to add it to the
This challenge ends on Thursday.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

  5. That is some gorgeous blue smooshing. Love the addition of the soft white text and this has to be one of the prettiest, lush-ist (is that a word?!) pink poinsettias I've ever seen. The blue really sparks the pink so beautifully. Love it! TFS & Happy Monday.
