Beautiful Day

Hello there.

I'm so glad you came for a visit!

This beautiful flower was stamped and heat embossed.

I used wet on wet watercolor for the flowers and leaves then fussy cut them out.

The Altenew July 2017 Inspiration Challenge
has this picture for inspiration.
I was inspired by the pink flowers.

A different kind of rose though.

EDITED TO ADD

I had already entered a card there but think I can enter again.
Do check out that wonderful gallery!

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

  5. So lovely! It gave me wonderful flashback to my childhood - the embossed background reminds me of a bedspread my parents had and the flower reminds me of the beautiful flower print curtains they had. Fabulous watercolouring of the flower. You should link it up to the Flower Challenge as it's perfect for it.
