Hello friends.
If you are celebrating Labor Day, I hope you are enjoying the day!
We've just returned from a couple days in the NC mountains
with our daughter and her family. So we are spending
a quiet Labor Day.
These loons were stamped with VersaMark and heat embossed. They'd been
waiting patiently in that UFO box for their place on a card.
I had pulled them out thinking they would be good for our
CAS Watercolour silhouette challenge
but needed some watercolor to go with them.
I had this piece of watercolor wash in my background box and was
trying to figure out how to put them together when I saw this card
that my friend Julia had done.
She enabled me to zip over to Papertrey ink and check out this die.
Actually it was 2 dies. And while I was there, I had to get some
of their wonderful sentiment sets too.
I used the smaller die to cut a piece of the watercolor wash
and the larger die to emboss a piece of Neena.
Fortunately there was enough of a border left on the wash
to use as a narrow border.
Here's a close up of the wash. Doesn't it look like water?
CAS Mix Up
I have stamping, watercolor wash, heat embossing, dry embossing with a die and a die cut.
AAA Cards #98 is
I'm thinking the loons qualify as critters.
ANYTHING GOES
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Super card, Bonnie, the watercolour wash is so pretty. I had to chuckle when I saw the title of your post. In the UK a loon is a silly or foolish person! xx
