Our leaves are turning to their bright, beautiful colors and falling fast.
Hopefully this leaf won't fall.
I wish I could have captured the gleam of the gold that borders the embossed sentiment.
The leaf was die cut from a snippet of watercolor paper and colored
with re-inkers and my Aqua Painter.
I used this leaf embossing folder that I had used at a friend's house. I have
since found one and was excited to add it to my collection.
When the leaf was dry, I dry embossed it with another embossing folder.
Lots of texture and shine on this card!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful leaf! The gold twine really sets it off, and I can see why you bought the leaf ef - it's a lovely one. You say your leaves are turning now - lucky you having a longer summer / later fall than us. Our leaves turned ages ago and are all down - it feels like fall is over!
