Sunbursts

Hello dear friends.

Today I'm sharing a card I made using a page from last  year's calendar.


I thought it needed something else.

So.......

I added some grunge dots.


It's amazing what a few dots or splatters can add.


Time Out Challenge: Thankful.  This is their 100th challenge. Congratulations, Time Out!

Ink:   Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Peeled Paint, Gathered Twigs (DI & D Markers), Delightful Dijon, Early Espresso (SU)
Paper:   Neena, Early Espresso, More Mustard (SU)
Other:  White Gel pen

    Wow, what a difference the grunge dots make....good to see that before and after. Small touches can make a big difference and you are so good at knowing just what to add. The coloring is wonderful, as always on your cards. Happy New Year, my friend.

    What a wonderful idea to use one of your calendar images. Gorgeous daisies, Bonnie. I love how adding the splatters added so much depth to your image. Your gel pen really was a great way to make the centers of your flowers pop. TFS my friend. Hugs

    Gorgeous flowers Bonnie - coloured beautifully with the white centres featuring. Those splatters made all the difference. Great score lines too.

    You are so right, Bonnie - those grunge dots add an amazing amount of interest and texture to the card. Thanks for showing the before and after. Love the bright sunny colours (especially on a grey day like the one Vancouver is having!).
