I used my MISTI with this beautiful orchid stamp.
I inked and stamped on Arches 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper, inking and stamping
one color at a time and moving with a water brush. Then I stamped again until I was
satisfied with the colors.
The sentiment was die cut 3 times and stacked for thickness.
And here's another that I made using this stamp.
Both of these cards have been sent off quite a while ago.
I'm slow to get them blogged.
I thought they would be a fun break from Valentines!
I'm joining in again at
Penny Black Saturday Challenge
ANYTHING GOES: OPTIONAL "USE SOME SCRAPS"
The sentiment was cut from scraps.

ReplyDeleteYes, you definitely have the "flowers" covered and they are both absolutely BEAUTIFUL Bonnie! I think I have that stamp buried somewhere too and need to find it...it's a beauty! Have a wonderful weekend friend!! :0)
ReplyDeleteBoth flowers are gorgeous Bonnie, but I really love the lighter pink with the hints of outline and colour. The flowers are stunning.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant and very classic cards, love them ;O)
ReplyDeleteI am the lucky who received the second card !!! :-)) I love it, it's so delicate and very feminine. I love how the colors have been chosen. Everything fits together beautifully! And I must add that the picture does not reflect the beauty of this card. The gold bar at the bottom of the card adds so much elegance and makes the card look like a real gem. I love this card and I am extremely grateful to Bonnie that I received it. Thank you, my dear friend :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs,

ReplyDeleteStunningly beautiful and both cards are works of art. You've nailed this fabulous technique Bonnie x So delicate and so pretty x
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are simply gorgeous. That orchid stamp is so detailed, that you really succeeded in getting so much depth in both. I especially like the contrast in the second, the whitish pastels to the darks, WOW.
ReplyDeleteStunning xx
You did an outstanding job of this, Bonnie! When I purchased this stamps a while ago it took me over a year to be successful with it. I love both the cards but particularly LOVE the shading on the second one! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous cards. The CAS layout really showcases the stamps. Thanks so much for sharing with us at PB & More.

Both cards are so beautifully watercolored, Bonnie! You used the same stamp and yet they look quite different. The colors you used and the way you colored the flowers made such a difference, didn't it? Hideko xx
