Today' I'm sharing another card using Rubber Band Stamping.

We're having a lot of fun using rubber bands for stamping thanks to
Julia, who is hosting CAS Mix Up this month.

There are videos that will show how to do it.
Let me warn you, it is addictive!
First I die cut this beautiful flower from a piece of Mixed Media Paper.
I used re-inkers in my pallette with a water brush to color the die cut flower.
While the flower was drying, I put thin rubber bands around a discard wood block,
inked it with Antique Linen Distress Ink and stamped around the outcut.
When the watercolor was dry, I popped it back in the outcut and
layered it onto a card.
I had a little glitter dot, a gift from The Foiled Fox with an order,
and I popped it over the center of the flower.

ReplyDeleteYour card speaks to me of spring in those glorious colours. It's a feast for Vancouver eyes that are so tired of grey and rain. Love the inlaid flower die and the subtle rubber band stamping!
