Kitty Watching for TwoFer

Hi there.  I hope you are having a great day and seeing some signs of Spring!

Here's my Twofer for April

I fell in love with this surprised kitty at the SSAT show last summer.

I think he looks more surprised because he'd sat in the NBUS box
not doing anything for so long.

He played nicely though.

Here's a close up.

I went very CAS with this card. (It will be one of the cards in my May class.)

I put a little more detail into the second one.

The witches hat is one of the Crazy Bird accessories. Another NBUS.
I fussy cut it after smacking it with Versamark and clear embossing it.

This Poppystamps fence was perfect.  I die cut it from a snippet of white
and sponged a little ink on it.

I had lots of fun with this one.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

  5. :-) I love your cats! Two great cards and the second card is my favorite! I have 2 cats at home and with the eyes of the imagination I can see how they would look in the wizard's hat ... Unfortunately, I can only see it through the eyes of the imagination, because my cats would sooner eat the hat than they would have put on their heads :-) My cats are real monsters :-))

  6. Oh my gosh are these ever fun! Love that image and since I do cards for so many kitty lovers, I may have to have him! Love that expression and what an outstanding job you did on the Halloween card. And no, no spring here and in fact we had snow yesterday. I just wish summer lasted this long.

  21. I can't tell what that cat's expression is so he's perfect for either a scary Halloween card or a snarky birthday. Your twofer is the cat's pajamas, Bonnie.

  23. You've really capitalized on that cat's expression for both of your card occasions! How clever to use that hat - I just wonder if the look on his face reflects his feelings about being 'costumed'. Such a great way to wish any good friend a happy birthday, straight to the point! Wonderful Twofer, Bonnie! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!

  27. What a hoot that face is! After you played with him for these tow wonderful and different designs, Bon-Bon, didn't you start thinking of a dozen other fun ways to use him! WTG using NBUS and snippets! I always love your attention to details and how you know just what to add to even the CASest card, like the twine that matches his eyes and the perfect sediment for his expression! On the Halloween card, the embossed hat and the stain on the fence are such wonderful elements!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #4! Hugs, Darnell
