I have another Twofer today.
I found both of these butterflies in my butterfly box and
thought they would be perfect for Darnell's Twofer Challenge.
I had die cut them from a piece of Inka Gold Smoosh and
kept all the little pieces intact.
This little note card will be perfect with a package.
The background was already done and stamped just waiting
for a butterfly to light on it.
This card is a CASE of a card I saw once. I think that Chrissie (Simply One of a Kind)
did it but I can't find the post now.
I dry embossed a snippet of white cardstock, put a piece of foam behind it,
popped the butterfly on it and stamped a sentiment.
This has been a fun challenge!
Thanks, Dolly.
Some of our CAS team has been at retreat in Vancouver.
I wasn't able to go but Nance Salkeld and I were able to join in with Skype!
We've had fun joining in virtually. Hopefully next year we can do it in person.
I'll share some of our projects another time.
Supper is almost ready.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteBonnie, two very pretty cards, your die cut looks wonderful against the textured back ground and the other is so perfect for a thank you card.
ReplyDeleteIt was so much fun skyping with you and Nance, definitely hope it's in person next time :)
Both your cards are so beautiful. Gorgeous shades of mostly blue. Love how you used the same butterfly and then made it your own.....CAS perfection x Thank you for sharing the CAS team photo and glad you could join in via modern technology x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous twofers Bonnie, such a lovely blue(ish) butterfly against two perfect square displays. Loving and so very CAS. xx
ReplyDeleteSounds like you all had lots of fun :D
Your butterflies are gorgeous Bonnie, and it intrigues me that you were able to keep the pieces/parts in tact! That alone is such a challenge. I love both the embossed panel as well as the soft watercolor wash. How fun to be able to participate via Skype too!
ReplyDeleteBoth Wonderful and such pretty cards, glad you all had fun.

The skyping worked so well, Bonnie - we really felt you and Nance participated!
ReplyDeleteLove the twofer butterfly cards - my favourite colours and two great layouts and designs!
Your inka gold butterflies are so pretty Bonnie! Great designs with one pretty dry embossed background and the other watercoloured. It was so much fun to craft together with you and Nance via skype. Here's hoping we can meet up in real life one of these days! xx
ReplyDelete... and thanks for playing with us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx
ReplyDeleteOh Bonnie! These are just lovely!! Isn't it cool how one butterfly die can look so beautifully different on two cards?! It's an incredible die, and you've created two amazing cards. The blues are gorgeous, and the watercoloring and smooshing are bright and happy. Really pretty. Thank you so much for joining us at the Twofer Challenge! Bev
ReplyDeleteOh, Bon-Bon, I do admire you ability to remember what's in your box of bits and USE them so effectively! These are both clean and simple designs but because of the layouts, texture, popups, and coloring, they both pack a HUGE wallop! Pinning both!! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #5! Hugs, Dolly
ReplyDeleteAnother fantastic pull from your box. These twofers are beautiful, Bonnie. Love the colours. Both CAS perfection! xx
ReplyDeleteOops... it was awesome Skyping and crafting with you! Maybe one day we will meet face to face. 😉
