This card uses a Penny Black die that was in my NBUS box.
It was cut from a piece of photo paper inked with greens and blending solution.
(I used a felt pad and applicator to do the inking.)
The die cut frame was glued (very carefully with a fine tip)
to a stitched die cut rectangle then layered on another alcohol ink
piece done in the same colors.
On this card, I used some more of the same alcohol inked piece
as the previous leaves.
I die cut these leaves with a Poppystamps die then used the negative as a
stencil to add some embossing paste to a background.
For added interest, I dry embossed a strip of white cardstock
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Beautiful looks on both of these lovely cards. Love how the photo paper took the alcohol blending too. Adding the embossing on the border stripe of #2 - along with the pretty stitched framing, really added a lot to the gorgeous leaves. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteI really love your cards, Bonnie. The layering on the first card gives it such texture and dimension and that delicate die cut must have been a bugger to glue on straight. I love the sentiment on the vertical too. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Just Us Girls.
