Brusho Wildflower Birthday

Hello friends.  I hope your day is going well.

We've been away for a few days.

Hubby had a conference and I tagged along to spend some stamping time
with a dear friend and relax a bit too.

I have another card using Brushos.  I showed Peggy this technique
while I was there.

This time I used Turquoise and Sea Green Brushos.

I sprinkled Crystals on one side of a piece of mixed media paper,

spritzed with water and watched the crystals play.

While the ink was still wet, I pressed a flower stamp into the wet color 

and stamped on the right side.  I did the same thing with a script stamp.

Joining in at The Flower Challenge #21

I picked Challenge #8 to CASE one of the Designers.
I chose to CASE Karen's card even using the same die cuts.
I did use a different technique for the background though.

Here's a picture of the view from our hotel room.

and a beautiful church garden we walked past in the evening.

Wish we could have gone inside the church.  It was a beauty.

Maybe next time.

It was fun to get away, but always nice to come home.
