I placed this oldie but goody tree from Stampin' Up! in my MISTI
and colored it up with Markers before stamping.

I'm so ready for Fall!
I see signs of color in the trees but not too much.
And it's still hot and humid.
Good weather to stay inside and play!
This card does double duty.

ReplyDeleteAutumn has arrived in Scotland and on the days it doesn't rain and is very windy (on the West coast) it can be glorious and I too love the changing colours of the trees x.
Hello from a scrapper who still is somewhat of a newbie. I love your pretty work.

The tree is so beautiful all decked out in it's fall leaves color. The washed sky is just so calming. ReplyDeleteWow...this is one of my all time fave SU sets from long a go. I have always colored the tree in green...and now, hot dog, I have your idea to do it in fall orange. Your card looks so good with that Misti technique, vibrant leaf color and soft background wash. Here's to a fabulous fall!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely little tree Bonnie - perfect for this sympathy card - love the white embossed sentiment on the black!
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful Fall card in the oranges, yellows, golds, Bonnie. Lovely, and hope you have a great week.
ReplyDeleteGreat use of a wonderful older stamp! Beautiful autumn colours for the leaves, and a perfect wash for the background - I especially love the way you did the sun looking like a large smudge rather than a strong yellow circle.
ReplyDeleteNever would have thought to use this tree with markers and water - it looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fall tree with the soft background. It makes a wonderful sympathy card. Stay safe when the rains come.

ReplyDeleteYour tree is so lovely and delicate, and I love the soft wash of the background - especially the impression of the sun. I would end up with a yellow green sun! ;-P The card is full of warmth and perfect for the occasion.
ReplyDeleteHideko xx
A sweet autumn setting, which goes well with the sentiment. A delicate stamp with the perfect subtle background. Love it when the leaves turn into a kaleidoscope of colour. So well reflected in this card. Beautiful xx
