Tree with Watercolor

Hello friends.  I'm glad you could stop by.

For this card I stamped the tree with Archival Ink and watercolored the background.

I put clean water around the tree and picked up ink smooshed on my palette
with a water brush.  I had some Lindy's on the palette to so I
added some of that in.

I found a tiny leaf stamp that isn't much more than dots, and inked
it with green adding it around the bottom to look like smaller
trees, bushes or whatever.

There's still time to play at CAS Watercolour
Challenge ends on the 24th.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

  3. Very classy...I really like this, the colours, the background and I spy some embossed paper in the layering I think...wood effect. Altogether a beautiful autumnal card. So glad you are safe. High winds brought our fence down yesterday...I can not begin to imagine the devastation that people have suffered in NC. xx

  15. The leaves have fallen. The vibrant colours of this are truly representative of our fall, maple trees have that special effect. To frame and stamp in black is the perfect punch matted over vanilla card stock, a graceful beauty. Love this special card xx
