Copper Leaf for CAS Mix Up

Hello friends.  Welcome to my blog!

We have a new challenge at CAS Mix Up

Using heated copper, Brushos, stamping and die cutting

This month's challenge is hosted by the fabulous Mac

We have lots of videos of different techniques to add metal to your cards.
You'll find them at the challenge site.

The Design Team has some fabulous inspiration pieces to share with you
and we are joined this month by our Guest Designer

We are excited to have a new member of our Design Team!
I hope you'll give Susan (Cats Ink.Corporated) a warm welcome.

I was quite lazy and dug into some wonderful heated copper die cuts
that my dear friend Loll had sent me.  Thank you again, sweet friend.

Here's a close up of the copper leaf.

Isn't it pretty?

I pulled out a background piece done with Brushos
sprinkled into spray starch and popped it behind a die cut square.

You don't have to have copper to join in this challenge.

There are lots of ways to incorporate metal into our cards.

I can't wait to see how you use it.

CAS Mix Up is open until the 24th.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

  16. Oh my, this is a stunning card Bonnie! I am loving that beautiful copper leave Loll sent to you. She is so generous and sweet! Your background is amazing, loving the colors in there, but I'm confused on the starch. How did you use starch??? Let me see if I have it straight, you sprayed starch down on your paper and then sprinkled the brushos???? Very cool look no matter how you got it! lol Mac picked a great challenge! Hugs, Brenda
