I'm scooting in at the last minute with my Twofer cards.
Not the best photos. I don't think the camera knew quite where to focus!
I used a NBUS stamp and die from Memory Box.
First up is a Thanksgiving card. Thanksgiving is over, but my thankfulness continues.
And I have a head start on next year!
I've inked the stamp with Distress Markers and pulled the colors with my water brush.
I swiped color on my palette and picked it up with the brush to add color
until I was happy with the look.
I've added the wreath to a piece of embossing.
It's a CASE of this card my friend Trina did.
For this card I've stamped and embossed the wreath and sentiment
on a piece of Black Textured cardstock.
It seemed a good home for some of my stash of colored stones.
I'll have to hand deliver this card!
You still have a few hours to join in at
You have to look really hard to see the embossed woodgrain behind the wreath.
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI'm going to start with the end, Bonnie, because I want to remember to tell you that your gold-embossing on black is flawless! It's not easy to emboss on black! The gold mat is a gorgeous frame for this amazing bejeweled wreath! I also love your beautifully colored wreath for Thanksgiving next year! Love the warm tones and the side borders you have peeking out! I can see a bit of the woodgrain embossing when I click to enlarge and I'm sure that extra element adds a ton of interest IRL! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #11! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove the delicate wreath you used for your Twofer! It looks fabulous in fall colors on the woodgrain embossed panel with the word die. And it is so striking gold embossed on black with the colorful gems!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining us at the Twofer!
wow Bonnie, those beautiful sequins look wonderful on your Wreath, the black background really make them pop. I love the fall colour of your thankful wreath :)
ReplyDeleteI could not honestly say which card I like better. The painting on the thanksgiving card is flawless and the rhinestones to create a Christmas wreath was brilliant! Love the gold on black so perfectly done. These are terrific, Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteI love this wreath, but didn’t know how to turn it into a Christmas wreath. You succeeded brilliantly, Bonnie!!! The gold and jewel stones are striking against the black! Your first card is watercoloured so beautifully... the sepia shades is gorgeous. And thank you for giving me credit, but I say that one is all you and your creativity. Absolutely love both your twofers. xx
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful wreath cards Bonnie. I have this stamp and it's amazing how different it looks depending on the colours used. Your fall wreath is gorgeous with the yellow flowers ... and those stones really shine and sparkle with the gold embossed outline image. Great designs for both cards! xx
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous wreath cards Bonnie the black one is stunning
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful cards Bonnie - I had ideas for this twofer, but that's as far as I got.... again!
ReplyDeleteLove the drama of the jewels against the gold embossing on the black - that is one eye catching card!
Blessings

That wreath is one of my favorite stamps; it's so very versatile as you've shown here with these two pretty cards! Your first card is so pretty in those Fall colors and its beautifully watercolored. That 'thankful' die looks like it was made especially for this wreath, too! And I'd have never thought to use gold embossing on black, and it looks amazing!! Those beautiful Christmas colored blings really make this card look nice and festive. Two wonderful cards, Bonnie. Thank you so much for joining us at the Twofer Challenge!! Bev
ReplyDeleteThe fall wreath is just lovely with gorgeous colors and I like the thankful across the center. Just a peek of red card stock. That black card is a big WOW. So colorful with the gems and the gold on that black card stock simply glows. The gold panel just adds to the shine. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteVery creative use of the stamped wreath for two very different occasions. Love the dramatic black one and the bling from the stones and the gold embossing and wow to your beautiful water colouring on your first one x. Always good to get ahead and well done in meeting the deadline, I sadly didn't x
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful - especially the one with the gems!

Great cards, Bonnie! Love your beautiful coloring on the first, and the bold embossing metallic on your second!
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful wreath cards for Thanksgiving and Christmas, Bonnie! The golden fall leaves with the Cajun Craze accent creates a fall feeling for the first card. And I love the festive wreath with the colored stones of your second card! The black card base brings out the shininess of the gold and it looks stunning. Wonderful towers, my friend!
