Hello friends.
I've been putting some watercolor holly on cards.
A super simple and favorite CAS layout.
The first card has an white embossed strip and some peeks of
dark green for contrast.
On the second card, I've embossed some gold foil and added a
gold embossed sentiment.
I'll take them over to Crafty Mo's Rudolph Challenge.
I believe I've entered this challenge every month this year.
One good reason why I have plenty of Christmas cards in my stash!
Thanks, Mo!
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

What a great layout on these cards! Looks fast and easy to make...just what I need as I am in a pinch to finish up making enough cards. So thank you for your "gift" of this layout. I love it and have similar things to make it. I so appreciate your skills -- water coloring and interesting designs being top of the list.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards Bonnie - may I CASE?

ReplyDeleteVery pretty design! I especially like the neat font of that first sentiment.
ReplyDeleteBonnie, you will have us all looking for that Penny Black berry branch after seeing these gorgeous cards. I love both layouts, the stark contrast in with the white embossed panel as well as the rich gold one. Beautiful!

Love the way you did a small section of embossing (for some reason, I rarely think to do that). It makes a great backdrop for your watercoloured holly. I love both cards - the gold makes a nice change from the white embossed strip. Love the font on the sentiment of the first card.
ReplyDeleteThese are just gorgeous. The soft embossing on the first card shows off the beautiful holly and watercolor. That sentiment font is outstanding. The gold embossing added a touch of elegance to the card. Just stunning, Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Bonnie. Favourite layouts are something we all have and it just makes us happy when we use them. Yours is beautiful. I love the textured strips under your pretty watercoloured holly. xx

I love your favorite CAS layout too, Bonnie, especially the diagonal line crossing over the horizontal strip. Your watercolored die-cut hollies are so pretty, and the dry embossed strips add so much interest to the beautiful open white space.

Gorgeous duet! I think my fave is the one with the gold strip as that gold really sets off your pretty holly.
