Amaryllis with Penny Black

Hi there.  I seem to be featuring Amaryllis flowers this season.

Here's one done with a Penny Black Brush Stroke Stamp.

I've used my MISTI to ink this stamp with Distress stains and markers.

After stamping each color, I moved the ink around with a water brush,
adding more ink as needed.

The sentiment is embossed with gold.

  1. Wow, this is gorgeous. I didn't know you could stamp with Distress Stains. I have some and they aren't opened because I didn't know what to do with them. Now I do, thank you. Love the bright red color and it is so Christmasy.

  5. This is such a classy, happy card that beautifully shouts Christmas. Your amazing water coloring and the choice of sentiment stamp that goes so well with this look makes this card stand out. Speaking of the sentiment stamp...it really caught my eye...love it. When I looked at your supplies used, I realized I have that PB set but that particular stamp is turned sideways so never noticed it(!) Sure will use it now...feel like I just got a gift.
