After so many rainy days the sunshine is so welcome!
I hope you are seeing some sun today.
I've used almost all the red Inka Gold pieces I have and the Inca Gold dried up
so I don't have any more. I used some of the last little pieces for these poppies.
I cut two sets of the flowers and bud from the red and one of the whole
die from Crumb Cake cardstock.
I've shaped the flowers and used dimensionals to add the top flower.
I added one unshaped flower to the inside.
This is for the Memory Box Challenge
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteGorgeous! The flowers really stand out against that beautiful lattice background! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Bonnie, great layout to frame that stunning tulip :)
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, Bonnie! I can't say I know what Inca Gold is, but I may need to investigate!

Love this card! The lattice corner is so pretty and the shine of the flowers is beautiful. I have scraped Inka Gold out onto a mat and spritzed with water to be able to use it. They say you can rehydrate it with glycerin and water but I haven't tried that. All mine dried out too.
ReplyDeleteWow, just gorgeous, Bonnie. Amazing dimensions and design. Your vibrant poppies just pop beautifully! xx
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Bonnie!

I love your gorgeous card Bonnie. The poppies are so pretty with that Inka Gold red and over the lovely cut out. TFS
ReplyDeleteI'm seeing beautiful sun today but it's really cold for Vancouver - below freezing. Nonetheless I love the brightness and the clear blue sky. Love your card and the way you set the poppy over the die cut corner - and also the way you layered the double flowers.
ReplyDeleteA PERFECT card.

A really beautiful card! Love, love it. I was able to fix some Inka Gold by adding lots of water and stirring over several days.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite dies and I love how you used it. The additional layer makes such a difference. Beautiful colors too!
ReplyDeleteYour red poppies look so pretty with their gold stems and layered over that lovely die cut out Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteYour card is just beautiful Bonnie, love those stunning poppy flowers against the white lattice and soft pink, - elegant, pretty card
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card!! I can't say I've tried this yet, but the product is water based and the company says to add a little warm water to the jar of dried up Inka Gold and let it sit for at least a couple of hours and then stir it up and it should be good to go again. They also suggest cutting a piece of baby wipe to lay inside the top of the jar before putting on the lid. The moist baby wipe will help keep the paste moist. You'll have to just use your judgement on the amount of water, of course, since everyone will have different amounts of product left that has dried out. Better to add a little water at a time even if it takes several treatments to succeed rather than ending up with Inka Gold paint. :) :)
ReplyDeleteYou made so many beautiful cards with those red Inka Gold pieces, Bon-Bon! This is another gorgeous CASlicious design!! Hugs, Dolly
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Bonnie. I love the soft pink background with the beautiful overlay corner die. Your red poppies are gorgeous. Such beautiful colours and dimension. I have lots of dried up Inka Gold and I'm determined to figure out how to use it. I'm experimenting and will let you know how it goes. Don't throw it out just yet! :) xx
ReplyDeleteI've always loved that poppy, Bonnie, and it looks so pretty with the pink showing through the cut-out.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Poppy card. I love them against your grid BG. Who would have thought that pink and red would look so PRETTY! I have to get my coloured card stock out. Love this xx
