Fluttering By

Hello friends.  I'm glad you stopped by.

Today's card was made with a NBUS House Mouse Stamp.
I love these sweet little mice!

I've stamped the image with Versafine ink on mixed media paper
and watercolored with Zigs.

The washed background was done using the wet on wet technique
and Distress re-inker.

I pulled out my Wink of Stella to add some shimmer to the butterfly
and added some tiny rhinestones to the trail.

Here's a close up that shows the shimmer a bit better.

ANYTHING GOES: Or
Stripes and/or Dots

There are stripes on the butterfly and dots on the trail.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

  7. What a shame we can't photograph shimmer - it's always so disappointing - I bet this is glorious in real life. Love that little image and of course your watercolouring is wonderful. Cath x

  8. That is one totally adorable stamp! And all the special Bonnie touches ...the orchid card base, the Stately EF (you "enabled" me to get that years ago and I so enjoy using it), the WOS and rhinestones for shimmer, and of course, the coloring of the stamp image. I absolutely love how it all came together!
