It's time to get back to some Spring cards.
Today I'm squeaking in playing at The Flower Challenge #31
Here's the sketch...
The taller recangle layer is embossed with a die.
The smaller rectangle is the taller flower.
The butterfly and smaller flower and sentiment represent the flowers on the sketch.
I did the irises with stamps and Distress Markers and
cut out with matching dies.

GORGEOUS card Bonnie! You've colored those Iris's so beautifully...I thought you cut out a photograph!! And I love the embossing on the side for the taller rectangle. Lovely, lovely card!! :0)
ReplyDeleteNow this is awesome, Bonnie. The coloring is outstanding and so realistic. My distress markers don't have that kind of talent! Frame this and set it on an end table where you see it every day.
ReplyDeleteWhat pretty flowers! I adore them over the textured cardstock. I love that tiny bit of texture, especially with white. Lovely card.

I saw your card in the Gallery and just had to have a closer look. This is such a beautiful way to use the sketch and I'm blown away by your colouring skills. I actually thought the flowers were a sticker or cut from patterned paper etc. They look so real, your attention to detail is outstanding. Love this card so much and so happy you shared it with us at The Flower Challenge!
