Baby Giraffe for Twofer

Hello friends.  I'm so glad you could visit.

I'm joining in at the Twofer Challenge today.

I didn't  think I had any zoo animals, but then I remembered
this sweet giraffe stamp.

One of my daughters needed baby cards last time she was here and
I need to replenish my supply.  So my onefer is a baby card.

I colored this with Copic markers.

For my twofer, I went with a get well card.

Sorry it looks crooked.  I think my doodling went awry.

I had some fun using stencils and embossing paste for
CAS Stencil so I popped this giraffe on one of those backgrounds.

This one was colored with Distress Markers and a waterbrush.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!Google

  10. What an adorable image and fabulous to use it in two very different ways x The face on the giraffe is perfect for the baby card and I think the way you've angled the image on the get well card lends itself to feeling 'unwell'....Hopefully that makes sense? x Great colouring on both and the stencil paste on the second looks terrific. Creative and super cute cards Bonnie x.

  17. What cute cards...love the combo of the embossing paste thru a stencil and the doodling with a Sharpie pen to set off the image on card 2. I never seem to have kids cards (or masculine ones) when I need them so this is a good reminder to build up a stash by doing twofers and using fast and easy backgrounds. Thanks for sharing the specific Copics and Distress Markers you used.

  21. Those are fabulous, Bonnie. Love the giraffe's sweet face! Great addition of the bow on the baby card, but my favourite is the get well one - he definitely looks unwell compared to the one on the baby card (great colouring to depict that!). And I love the embossing paste background.
