CAS Watercolour
Our dear Loll is hosting this challenge
I have a lot quite a few poppy stamps.
I don't think I'd inked this one up before. I found it very easy to color.
The shading is already there.
I put it in my MISTI and inked it with Mustard Seed Distress Ink,
stamped it and pulled the color from the stamping to the centers of the petals.
Fossilized Amber and Spiced Marmalade spiced up the shaded areas.
I smooshed some in on my palette and used my waterbrush to pick up the ink and add
to the shaded places until I was happy with the color.
I like to start light and add more color.
That's easier than trying to take the color out!
The background was done with wet on wet technique and re-inkers.
Our talented Design Team along with this month's fabulous Guest Designer, Rachel
have some wonderful inspiration for you. It's going to be a beautiful gallery at
CAS Watercolour this month!
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!
