Celebrating Pink

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!


 Last week we did this card in class.  We did it in turquoise but
I thought it would look great in pink for the
Jingle Belles challenge.
So I made another.
♥ Pink Christmas... for the Cure! ♥
....At ♥JINGLE BELLES♥ we always devote the first theme of each October to making pink holiday cards as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and that for each card that gets linked up, we (Stephanie and Lauren) each donate two dollars to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. 

 Aren't these gals special?

 The bear was stamped in Archival ink and colored with Distress inks swiped on a
palette and picked up with a blender pen.
I don't have the dies for this gal so we fussy cut her out.

    You used one of my all time favorite MFT stamps Bonnie and I'm loving ALL the pink in this card! Loving the swirled background too! Cute, CUTE card my friend!! :0)

    This card is indeed cute in pink Bonnie, but I bet it looked beautiful in the turquoise too. I love the idea of how you girls devote the first theme of Oct. to making pink holiday cards and how wonderful that for each card that links up, these women donate $2 to breast cancer research. So wonderful!!! Wish I could get a card made for this too, but I have my hands full again with a new puppy Bret rescued. Hugs, Brenda

    I just used one of those bear stamps from that set a couple of days ago! Love the way you used this one. He really looks like he's skating too. Cute design!

    I cannot believe that I haven't treated myself to this set - yet!! Bonnie, she is as cute as she can be! LOVE the pink, and this pretty green together... SO happy to see you've treated yourself to that swirling die! Adds the perfect bit of chilly weather for your skater-with-the-figure! xx

    I adore the skating bear Bonnie and the half circle shape is just the perfect size and with such a pretty pink background, and I love the white quilted stitch die design over the front too. Beautiful! x

    What a fun card for the Jingle Belles pink challenge! Love the bear's pink and green scarf and pink skates,and the way you have her skating along the edge of the die cut opening. The white embossed layer reminds me of the compulsory figures that competitive figure skaters used to have to do and how the judges would look at the patterns and circles they made on the ice! (I'm a big figure skating fan!)

    That skating bear is adorable. Love your design with all the pink accents. Those girls at Jingle Belles are wonderful to donate money for the Cure. Haven't had a change to play at JB for a while and didn't realize it as time for the Cure challenge. Hope to play along. xx

    She's wonderful Bonnie and I love how she's all flushed with exertion! The pink sky is amazing and the swirly die gives a wonderful suggestion of snow.
