Maple Leaves for CAS Watercolour

Hi there.  It's time for another challenge at
CAS Watercolour
And we're celebrating our 3rd birthday!

Our fantastic Loll is hosting the challenge this month and she chose....

I've die cut some little maple leaves and watercolored them with re-inkers.

The branch was die cut from brown cardstock and covered with gesso which
added some dimension.  I watercolored over the dry gesso with brown re-inker.

The background was in my stash.  I stamped all over a whole piece of
watercolor paper then liberally spritzed with water.  The ink ran randomly leaving
some branches and leaves and a lot of green.

I added a little yellow liquid watercolor to the leaves and on some of
the white space to give the impression of sun shining through the leaves.

I love seeing the sun shine through the leaves!

Our very talented Design Team have painted some beautiful maple leaves
and we are thrilled to have our friend Ros who won the August challenge
join us as Guest Designer.  I hope you'll be inspired by their cards and join us at
CAS Watercolour

And don't forget it's a celebration this month!
