Today I'm honored to be Guest Designing for
Penny Black Saturday Challenge
This month's challenge is
'ANYTHING GOES'/'OPTIONAL SOMETHING NEW'
I'm using a new to me stamp set. I love all the designs in this set, but
this bird was my favorite so he got inked up first.
I've colored him up with Arteza Twimarkers and a new waterbrush
that was a Christmas present from a dear friend. The brush worked beautifullywith these markers!
While the piece was drying, I die cut a circle off the edge and dry embossed a piece
of Neenah to frame the design. I was thinking about a certain friend that likes
gray so I popped it on a gray card base.
I hope you'll join us at
Penny Black Saturday!
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

Congrats my friend...your card is BEAUTIFUL!! I can see why you chose this image to stamp first...it's so pretty and you've colored it just beautifully! Loving the offset design too! Lovely, lovely card Bonnie!! :0)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on being Guest Designer at PB Saturday Challenge, Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! Your coloring wows me. I especially loved the colors of the bird, wondering what shade of gray you used. I checked the card recipe and saw 3 shades of gray (not one shade) listed - no wonder the bird looks fabulous!
The off-the-edge circle design is perfect for the curvy lines of the bird and the stem, too.
