There's still time to join in with Linda's challenge at
I found a watercolor background in my stash and added some twinkling stars
with silver sparkle paste through a stencil.
My joyful snowman is cut from Glimmer Paper so he sparkles with a
crusty, snowy look.
I added a tiny bit of watercolor to his stick arms and nose.
Check out the fantastic cards our Design Team has done for your inspiration

I love this sweet snowman, Bonnie! He looks so happy. And looks amazing all sparkly too. Great with the gorgeous blue sky background. The silver twinkling stars are so pretty!! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous watercolor background you found in your stash, Bonnie! I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteThe sparkly snowman is so happy/joyful against the gorgeous night sky. The stenciled silver stars adds more shininess. A wonderful “Joy” card, my friend!
p.s. I had a hard time making a blue watercolor background yesterday. I used Gansai Tambi paints as you did, but I might have used too much water. It turned out to be very dull light blue wash. I didn’t like it at all and I sponged Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink all over to cover the watercolor...
totally delightful card.

A joyful and sparkly snowman, with a glorious night sky. Such a pretty card Bonnie x.
ReplyDeleteSeeing that sparkly snowman brings me joy. Great find for the background.
ReplyDeleteYes, I saw this divine, wonderful, amazing card while on vacation, but I could not comment on it on a regular basis. What I wrote at the beginning poorly reflects my delight, because words are not always able to convey the power of feelings that arise in us. This is another of your greatest cards, Bonnie!!!
