I hope you're feeling healthy and creative these days.
card #1 - Sympathy
This is super Quick Clean and Simple (QCAS)!
Stamp twice on white cardstock with black ink, die cut a piece from the middle,
mount it on a piece of contrasting cardstock just a bit bigger and stick it on top.
Monochrome is what the Flower Challenge is looking for this month,
Twofer - Birthday
This one took a bit more time. I stamped and watercolored with
Gansai Tambi paints. This little black strip of straight cutting was laying
beside my paper cutter. Straight little strips aren't the norm around here
so I added it to this card.

It is so nice to see the same stamp used to create 2 very different cards. Love the watercoloring on the second one and the lovely clean black and white of the first one xx
ReplyDeleteYour purple flowers just jumped out at me from the gallery! Gorgeous coloring - thanks for joining in at STB
ReplyDeleteAmazing to see the contrast with the two cards Bonnie, the simplicity of black and white is stunning and the vibrance of the purple flower is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful ways of using this pretty PB flower Bonnie, and love just the outline with the central black backed stitched rectangle which adds just the right amount of interest, and then the beautifully coloured purple flowers with the watery blue background, and the black strip across and the black twine bow, and sentiment beneath have finished this so prettily. x
ReplyDeleteAmazing designs for Twofer Bonnie! LOVE the monochromatic with the raised center. Perfect design for a sympathy card. And your colouring of the purple card is STUNNING! You are on a roll, my friend! xx

ReplyDeleteWhat a cool QACAS card your first design is, Bon! So simples, but hugely impactful and perfect for a sympathy card ~ pinning! You have made the same image sing in purple hues on your birthday card! It's stunning and I love the soft blue background and soft schplatters! Thank you for the reminder to reach for my GTW more often. The colors are so much deeper. And thank you so much for playing again in Twofer Card Challenge #27! Take care and keep safe. Hugs, Dolly

ReplyDeleteGreat showcasing of the Full of Glee flower stamp. Just goes to show how very different it can look when it is beautifully water coloured and then in the classy monochromatic x.

ReplyDeleteYou’ve nailed the challenges with these gorgeous twofers, Bonnie. Great design on the monochromatic sympathy card. Your birthday card may have taken longer to do, but we’ll worth it... so beautifully watercolored.
ReplyDeleteA brilliant and beautiful twofer, Bonnie! I love the monotone for a sympathy card. You gave it great style. That PB stamp is gorgeous enough on it's own even without coloring. However, just look at what a stunning card you made with it all colored up! Wonderful!
