Blissful Navy

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I hope you and yours are well.


This NBUS stamp has finally seen ink.

Do you buy stamping stuff and then take forever to use it too?

I used Distress markers to ink this stamp after securing in my MISTI.
Then I smooshed some ink on my palette and picked up color with a damp 
waterbrush to fill in the flowers and leaves.

I decided to wait on the sentiment because I'm not sure what I'll use it for.

    This is GORGEOUS! I really love the dark background...it makes that floral image really stand out. And why no, I use ALL my stamps as soon as I get them....HAHA! I do try, though! :D Enjoy your weekend!

    This is very pretty Bonnie and good to finally ink it up. I love the shaped mat too which shows it off beautifully and then the dark blue background makes it pop even more. A brilliant card! x

    I do love the flower image Bonnie and it looks so pretty framed in this way with a dark panel. I TRY to use my new stamps as soon as I get them but have come to the conclusion that there just aren't enough hours in the day! Vicky x

    Oh I love this card, Bonnie! Navy blue and white is one of my favorite color combos, but it sometimes looks too sharp. You did an amazing job of making it soft and elegant by using the beautiful frame and watercoloring the curvy flowers. I'd love to case this!

    Love the coloring and the texture of this work of art, Bon! I'm seeing more of these wonderful frames and I'm pretty sure I have some of my own on NBUS Mt. I never knew what to do with them, because I always thought they were just for sediments. You've opened up a whole new world for me by framing your brilliantly painted flower this way!     Yay to using NBUS... and I’m definitely guilty of letting supplies collect dust. Another beautiful card, Bonnie. The navy suits this image perfectly. Always impressed with your inking/stamping/watercoloring. Love it framed with the elegant rectangle.

    I think I've just fallen in love with navy like never before! Between the stamp, the frame, and the navy background this card speaks dignity and elegance. I go on spells where I buy too many stamps in a short period of time and then I can't possibly use them all before they get old.

    Great design, I love how you combined flowers with a panel. This card is beautiful and can be used for almost any occasion, also for a man, which is usually difficult for me.

    This is stunning Bonnie!! Intrigued by the paper you used, has the most amazing texture to it and amazed you were able to paint and stamp on it so beautifully. And that die frame fits the floral image perfectly. Gorgeous card and always so happy to see you at The Flower Challenge!!

    Don't stamp anything, this is one to frame. I love this dard navy matting for this blue blissful bloom. The texture on this panel is terrific. Framing awesome as usually :D
