I have another Christmas card for my stash.
I've used another of the Power Poppy Digital stamps and watercolored with
Twimarkers and my waterbrush.
The background is a wet on wet wash using reinker with
lots of water.
A little Chunky Frantage heated from underneath added a bit of snow.
This scene reminds me of the shelf outside my grandma's window where
she fed the birds. I still love watching the birds.
Challenges:
Jingle Belles: Get in shape
Power Poppy Creative Confetti: Shape Up
June Rudolph Days: Anything Goes Christmas
Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.
Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI love watching the birds and have feeders that I can see from my kitchen table. I really enjoy all the year-round regulars as well as the seasonal birds that come through on migration routes.
Love your fun card shape! The image is so pretty coloured up that way and the tag at the top looks perfect here.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking part in the June Rudolph Days Challenge.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful digital, and I love your coloring - bright colors, soft background and whispy snow... can I have winter now please?
ReplyDeleteI adore those sweet little cardinals ... and what lovely watercoloring ... so very glad you SHAPED-up with us at Jingle Belles.
ReplyDeleteOH wow, such a colourful triangle card. Love those snowflakes, giving a convincing added texture. Nice
ReplyDeleteGeraniums are so very special and you've recreated them perfectly. I remember having 4 pots hanging from my balcony and the overload of blooms. They are the best. (living in the country the overgrowing trees in my yard create too much shade so I now have begonias... I miss them) Love how the leaves overlap the framing. Definitely a "special" card for a special day.
