Snowy Branch Cardinal

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by.

I love all birds and especially the bright cardinals.
And they are really beautiful when it snows!

I've stamped this fella on mixed media paper and had fun
watercoloring.

If you look close you can see that I stamped and heat embossed pine
braches around the frame.  I wanted to keep this CAS but with a bit of
extra interest.

Challenges:
CAS Christmas - Christmas Birds
Krafty Chicks - Clean & Simple

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

  17. WOW! Your cardinal looks stunning !! I love the way you painted it with a watercolor. His head looks so dignified, I love the black spot so characteristic of these birds. I regret it because I never saw the cardinal in reality, but for me it is the most beautiful winter bird. I also love the white embossed twigs on the card frame, a perfect solution to add details that are actually so subtle that the card still remains the perfect CAS
