Snowflakes

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.  Sigh, I don't think we'll be seeing snow here.
So I made some of my own!

I cut a snowy embossed piece into thirds, mounted the pieces on silver foil,
silver heat embossed a greeting and added a die cut snowflake that was
heat embossed three time.  The little "gems" are actually glitter paper cut with
a paper punch.

  1. Whoa, what a great card! I love the embossed snowflakes and the silver. This design is lovely and the big snowflake is gorgeous. What a great idea to use glitter paper and a punch to make gems. We may get a dusting of snow so it may be a "white" Christmas here.

  7. No snow here either Bonnie {sighs} but we've been promised some frost so suppose a little bit of white is better than none at all! (Well I think so anyway!)

  14. Love the teal snowflake and silver foil linings against the white embossed panel...to me it feels peaceful. And also love the idea of punching centers from glitter paper vs. using a chunky embellishment that requires extra postage(!)

  19. Gorgeous snowflake dry embossed panels, Bonnie. Love your die cut snowflake and heat embossed green layers with a pretty bow. Your silver foil framing was a nice shiny touch along with your punched faux gems. TFS my friend...we have had over 4 inches of rain the last 2 days...suppose to get a bit of sun the next few days...definitely NO snow. TFS your beauty Love and Hugs...Nancy

  25. So many snowflakes in one place! I love the idea of dividing the embossed panel into 3 parts. This made the card more attractive. Holidays in Poland were without snow, but for several days we have had a real winter here with snowfall and frost - 14 degrees Celsius. Maybe it will reach you ...?
