Happy New Year Bonnie, those splatters are just perfect. Less is definitely more on this card and the deep black enhances the image without overwhelming it. love how you have coloured and framed that bird too and added that extra interest from the leaves on the background, gorgeous xx
ReplyDeleteYour bird is so sweet Bonnie! I love the soft watercolouring ... on Neenah??!! So beautifully framed with the pretty leaves peeking out around the edges. LOVE it! xx
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I already have this stamp or you would make me want to order it. You've done a lovely job with the watercolor on Neenah. The framing, the die cut leaves, the Subtle EF, and all the white make this a sweet kind of exquisite. And the splatters are perfect!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant watercolouring Bonnie - and a lovely stamp!

I have a soft spot for birds and this one in particular. The coloring is absolutley brilliant...seeing a bluebird always seems so hopeful. Your spattering is excellent and framing your critter was such a terrrific idea. Love the addition of the white on white diecuts, always one of my favorite looks.
ReplyDeleteThe one thing that always struck me about your work is your presentation. This is such a beautiful card, Bonnie and love that bird. You painted him perfectly too.
