Sparkly Tree

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I hope you are doing well.

Have you got your vaccination yet?  Hubby & I have had our first and will get
our second next week.

For the Jingle Belles Challenge an inspiration photo.

I love the soft shade of the trees and all the ornaments.

This tree was die cut from some white glimmer paper.
To get the color I smooshed ink unto my palette and picked up
the color with a sponge dauber.  I started with Bundled Sage then went
over it with Speckled Egg DOX ink.  I chose a sentiment that reminded me of
the sign on the mantle, inking it with markers.

I used various dots, rhinestones and sequins to decorate the tree and
cut some presents out of alcohol inked yuppo paper in my stash.

To cut the presents I used a NBUS die that a sweet friend had sent me.

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

  2. Have that tree die and love what you did with it...giving it a whole new look by cutting from white glimmer paper and sponged with inks. Plus the assortment of embellishments for ornaments...clever!

  4. I love those unconventional colors and the sparkly tree. Cute wonky presents under the tree. I'm so happy you have gotten your first shot and the second is not far behind. That's great news.

  5. Gosh, there are a lot of people getting vaccines! I seem to be hearing mixed messages here. We'll be lucky to get ours by the end of the month, but then last night I heard something about April on the news. I just don't know. Anyway, I just adore your whimsical Christmas card with those fun presents! The textured background is really nice, too!

My husband and I have had our first vaccine and get the second one the 25th of this month. There are still so many unknowns that we will continue to take cautionary means for a good while.
