Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
It's been busy around here! Now that I've been vaccinated, I'm out and about more.
I've seen more people in the last week than I'd seen in person for the last year.
It's a good feeling and it's like no time had gone by.
I hope you're getting to the spot where you can get out and visit family
and friends again. Please do it safely for yourself and those who haven't been
able to get their vaccination yet.
Here's a very simple card with a little watercoloring.
I used Gina K. Designs Warm Glow ink to stamp with for a
no-line coloring look using Zigs for the coloring.
I die cut the piece with this beautiful Elegant Stitching Frame from Penny Black
that was a wonderful gift.
I'm taking this to Penny Black Saturday Challenge

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty Bonnie!
ReplyDeleteGlad you have been able to get out.
Here we are still have restrictions. Only allowed to exercise with those from your own household or one person not in your household and we must stay local. From the end of this month 6 people will be allowed to meet outdoors if the cases continue to drop and there is to be no travel abroad. So we are still a long way from anything close to normality and there are some hints that we may have to continue to wear masks for a considerable time.
All I want is a hairdresser!! (Can open from 12th April - I'll be like the Roadrunner getting there!) x
What a lovely, lovely card Bonnie and so Spring like...totally makes me smile!! Glad to hear you've been able to be out and about...I'm sure it feels wonderful!! I get my 2nd shot next week and then two weeks from then I'll be clear to go out and about...although our numbers are rising big time here in Michigan and that's NOT a good sign! Take care my friend!! Hugs. :0)
ReplyDeleteA very pretty PB stamp Bonnie and love the bright and beautiful pink with the blue background and such a pretty ornate edge to the mat. I'm glad that you are getting out and about more and meeting people. I have forgotten what it feels like to socialise and as Viv says the restrictions are very limiting at present, and I have got a hair appointment on the 21st of April and can't wait to get my unruly locks sorted out..lol. I just hope things don't change again in the meantime otherwise I might in desperation get hubby to shear it off..lol. x
ReplyDeleteLovely watercoloring and such a soft look to it. That frame was a wonderful gift and looks so pretty mounted on the dark paper.
ReplyDeleteYour watercolouring is wonderful, love it xx
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful blooms you have there, my dear! I just never could get those Zigs to work - you have a very magical touch, my friend!

Beautiful card and beautiful watercoloring. You always do such a good job watercoloring. I am not that good. :(
ReplyDeleteGlad you are getting out and about. Take care.
Beautiful card Bonnie. I know you are tickled to be seeing friends and family again. Our family does not live anywhere near us and to be honest, we are not in the mood to travel and stay in motels/hotels. Your flowers are very pretty - love that red/pink color.

Your watercolouring just gets better and better, Bonnie! Love this card with the shades of pink in the flowers and the soft blue wash in the background.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're able to get out and see friends now you've had your vaccine. Can't wait for mine!
It's so nice to get out with family and friends now I agree Bonnie! I have enjoyed it too and it's been a little emotional as well as I've missed the people in my tribe so much. Still, like you said, we need to be careful for the ones who haven't been vaccinated. But it so feels good to get out and about once again!
ReplyDeleteYour card is stunning! I love that image of those blooms, they are so pretty and once again you have watercolored it to perfection! Hugs, Brenda
I am so glad that you can safely go out and about a little more Bonnie...It's been a long year. I have just had my first vaccination but won't be venturing far before my second and that will be awhile yet x. What a beautiful card and the water colouring is so pretty Bonnie x.
