Coming up Daisies

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

I used my NBUS Slim Strips Dies from Pinkfresh Studio to cut strips from a
snippet of Neenah and colored them with various Distress inks and my blending brushes.

After they were lined up, I popped on a couple die cut daisies that I'd sponged some
color on.

Easy and fun and I love having a die to cut these strips with.  Somehow I never
seem to get narrow strips cut evenly!  The set has strip dies in three sizes so
I think I'll get lots of use from them.  They're long enough for slimline cards too.

  5. Wowie, this is so great, Bonnie! I probably wouldn't have thought to buy a strip die, but it's a fabulous idea! I don't know what happens from one end of the paper to the other, but it's so hard to get strips to cut evenly. Love the beautiful colors you used, and they're such a perfect backdrop for your cute and perky daisies. Couldn't be a happier card!

  9. Sigh. I have a feeling this month's NBUS is going to be very hard on my pocketbook! (What a weird word when you think about it. Must look that one up.) That die does make nice even cuts and I love the way you have color blended them, Bon! The daisies and choice of sediment are perfect, too! Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

  15. so pretty and springy. But versatile, because it would be easy to change colors and get a different feel. (although these colors are perfect, in my opinion!)
