Hi there. I'm so glad you stopped by!
I used a previously embossed background and stamped the Fragile Branches
with DOX ink. I used a wet waterbrush to move the ink to blur the images some.
The gnome background was cut from Neenah and the pieces from Neenah and
decorative paper. I swiped his beard a few times with a gray Copic and used
a pink Copic to color his nose.
I've so far refrained from adding some red berries with Nuvo drops.

What a cute gnome Bonnie and I love the watercolour look of the foliage in the background and the background card looks great with the dry embossing top and bottom and a wonderful monochrome look too. x
ReplyDeleteI am glad you refrained from adding the red as I think it is perfect just as it is. It has a real wintry and Christmasy feel to it xx
ReplyDeleteBonnie...love how all your elements come together! The embossing, colors, the hint of copic-coloring...truly a perfect card.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is this and LOVE the designer paper you used! Glad you didn't add the berries. It keeps that adorable gnome in focus. And thanks for the idea of paper piecing the copious gnomes I have here. Love that idea. Great card, Bonnie.

ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet. Berries would look great on it too, but it's also perfect without.
