This is a CASE of a card my friend Michele did.
I used cardstock for my background and die in my stash.
I did have to find a primitive star die.
I put a piece of vellum behind the lacy die cut to give a little contrast
to the background.
I like Michele's inked background a lot better, but my inking
usually leaves me disappointed.

What a gorgeous die, Bonnie! How did you get the gold border on the star? If done by hand you sure do have a steady hand. LOVE the effect you achieved with this! Beautiful card!

Why are we always so critical of our own work? this is lovely, different from Michele's but so it should be not better, not worse. I do like that die cut background xx
