Sparkle and Shine Purple and Gold

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!


I've done a shameless CASE of this card by Sheri Gilson.
She is hosting the Christmas in July challenge at Gina K Designs this month.

I used a different background color since the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown
is asking for Purple, Gold & White this week.

I started with a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock and heat embossed this 
elegant ornament.  I've heat embossed the sentiment on a snippet of white cardstock.

To draw the eye to the ornament, I sponged the edges with Wilted Violet and 
Elegant Eggplant ink.

The outer layer is white cardstock with gold heat embossed edges.

    It is a beautiful, shameless CASE! I love the purple you used, and it really does draw the eye in with the inking going around the cardstock. I love that ornament, looks stunning in the gold. Just beautiful! Hugs, Brenda

    Such a royal combination of colors, Bonnie. Adding ink shading along the side edges brings out the light around this elegant Christmas ornament. A unique Christmas card.

    This is such a beautiful bauble Bonnie and love the gold embossing on the rich purple colour ccard, land the banner with the sentiment across the middle looks perfect. I love the gold embossed edge to the matted layer so it all goes together brilliantly. x
