I had a class last week and this card was made from some leftovers of this card...
I had a piece of watercolor and the stencil from a piece that I had used
to test inking through a stencil made from a die cut for the inside.
I was able to die cut three of the small maple leaves from the watercolor
to pop over the stenciled ones.

Beautiful russet tones for your leaves Bonnie and the 3d leaf embossing in the background goes brilliantly. I love your second card too using some leftover pieces too..the burlap makes a great background for the leaf and a sweet little sentiment tag on top too. x

I love the stenciling behind the leaves, Bonnie. It adds dimension as does that fabulous embossing folder. You have some of the best ones.

OMGosh, this is sooo pretty, Bonnie! The layered leaves are beautifully done, and I love the soft gold edge with the narrow strip over the seam for a finish. The embossing is utterly gorgeous and I'm hoping it's the same folder I have. I really need to give that thing some more exercise before fall is over. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Four Seasons!
ReplyDeleteWe took a little 1500 mile drive this weekend - and found all the prettiest colors when we arrived back home! Which is a lesson learned: you always have what you need at your finger tips if you just reach! You found some of the prettiest leftovers, Bonnie! Gorgeous cards!
