It seems impossible to get a good photo of all this shine.
I used my favorite 3D embossing folder for the leaves. For the 7 1/4" Monarch
sized card, I used the embossing folder twice. Where they meet was a good place
to put the sentiment strip. The sentiment is from a very old Hero Arts set and
probably not available any more.
After embossing, I lightly sanded the raised portions with a sanding block.
I love how this technique highlights the raised veining in the leaves.
The sentiment is heat embossed with gold. It's a super shiny card!

ReplyDeleteThe color scheme is perfect, Bonnie, I love the green embossed background and that brick butterfly. Mirrored cardboard boxes are really beautiful, when embossed they create a different world. The mistake of cutting through a leafy background and using that space to place the sentiment is brilliant
