More Tulips

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!


I have really enjoyed these tulips! They are a joy to watercolor!
Thank you sweet friend for sharing them.

This time I colored them pink.  I added a light wash of blue and some splatters.

I held my breath and die cut the panel. Woosh.  So glad I didn't ruin it!

  1. What a fabulous job you did watercoloring these gorgeous tulips! You created incredible highlights and shadows, Bonnie! I would have held my breath cutting it too but it turned out so beautifully! This card is really so well done!

  6. I do recognize these tulips! I have one of the ones I painted on my bulletin board. You seem to have perfected the technique or maybe your own technique I should say and boy are your tulips gorgeous. I love the lighter look that you have achieved. Bravo Miss Bonnie!!

  19. What a wonderful coloring! The tulips looks as real ones. I like the idea how to take more dynamic to the card with cutting the panel.

  31. Wow, a stunning card, Bonnie! The pale pink tulips are heavenly beautiful and I love the translucent layers of your watercoloring! The no-line technique and the white spatters nicely add softness to the image. Wonderful color choice of the card base too.
