Plaid Stars

Hi there.  I'm so glad you stopped by!

Christmas is right around the corner.
(April Fool)

But honestly, it feels like the weeks and months are flying by!

My friend Chrissie (Simply One of a Kind) did some lovely cards last Fall
using stitched stars.  I was so impressed that I found some stitch star dies and added
them to my stash.  They've finally found their way out of the NBUS box.

I love how they paired up with this plaid paper!

Challenges:
Jingle Belles - Plaid Christmas
NBUS  - Never Before Used Schtuff (Star dies)

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Joyeux Noel (Trinity Stamps)
Ink:   Versafine Onyx Black
Paper:   Neenah Solar White, DSP (ret. SU)
Other:  Stitched Star Basic Dies (Dress My Craft), Stitched Rectangle Die (SSS)

Enjoy!

  1. I don't think I needed any help buying those stars, but I haven't used them yet, Bonnie... thanks for the reminder of why I bought them in the first place - they are fabulous! Love the plaid and that little baby glittery one in the middle!

It looks like Christmas outside my door! Bah humbug -much nicer than the words that came out of my mouth first thing this morning.

  14. What a wonderful design Bonnie, and I love the red plaid as the background to the stitched star and great contrast with the white and finished with added silver glitter red and white star embellishments, and the sentiment in black ties in beautifully. x
